A letter from an XpertSHARE user to the program coordinators at the client’s organization:

I am sending this to provide some additional feedback on the pilot. I thought it was outstanding. I have read a number of books on Object Oriented technology, and I've started some courses on the subject as well. I felt that I had a good understanding of the technology, but there was always a piece missing that wasn't tying all of the loose ends together. In speaking with the trainer, I was able to ask my questions in such a way that it finally made sense. None of the training material in the books I've read, or in the online classes would have covered the answers I received. That's why I felt this was a particularly valuable experience, and should really become a part of the support mechanism for all of the [technology] courses, if not more. Obviously, there's a price associated with this, but I think it would be worthwhile. Please let me know if you have any questions. Thank you

At a recent survey conducted by a client 96.6% of the users with access to the XpertSHARE system responded with “Satisfied” or “Very Satisfied” to the survey’s 24 questions.

Here are some of their additional comments:
“…he [the Knowledge Advisor] was able to see where my question was coming from, and answer other aspects of the question that I hadn’t yet thought of.”
XpertSHARE tools work best “when concepts are not understood & need to be illustrated”
Presence of a Knowledge Advisor “enhanced learning.”

Feedback from Experts and Knowledge Advisors:

“The whiteboard makes everything easier to do and saves a tremendous amount of time. It is so much clearer to be able to see a learner's code for yourself so that you can point out the error.”

Application Sharing is most important. Instead of the learner having to explain what they are doing, you can see it on the whiteboard. This saves endless amounts of time.”

Learners should be encouraged to use this platform as a first resort and not a last one. However, even in my instructor-led classes, people are reluctant to ask questions. It's a matter of changing mind sets.
